Where we are

1/10/13 – NCFDC’s Football Feast!

On a Saturday when the two big North London Clubs stayed in positions 1 and 2 in the Premier League, down the road in Hertfordshire another football spectacle was taking place by the young players of the NCFDC!! We were greeted by a feast of skill, pace, team work, goals, goals & more goals by our young players!
We would like to welcome our new signings to the NCFDC –
  1. Tyler
  2. Mikey
  3. Harry
  4. Milo
Who all started well making their debuts. Boys/parents we hope you enjoy your time with us.
This week I have to give special praise to two young players who this week played with big smiles on their faces throughout the session and never moaned once with the bib colours they were handed !!
Good response Sonny & Ted! Also a mention for Nikhil who is showing that he has the potential to turn in to a top little player. However player of the session must go to Ollie who worked hard, scored goals and showed a great attitude. Well done to all a pleasure to coach!
A smaller group in the second session, however a very strong group of players! Debutant Milo showed his keenness to be in the thick of the action and Iain pace and power proving very hard to contain. Moment of the match, Theo our little ‘ Messi’ weaving through three players with great skill just missing with his shot! Some great bits of team play were on show during this match with players looking to link up with team mates! We began the process of getting players in to some basic positions and this certainly helps with promoting team play. We ll done to all the players a really enjoyable session.
Parents can I thank you also for the atmosphere you are setting, its great to hear people clapping when players do something well as this only reinforces a positive learning environment for our young players that will help with their development! Thanks
Saturday sessions had me fully engrossed, in fact so much I forgot to take pictures! Don’t fear I will have Simon happy snapping this coming Saturday!

I am really happy to get behind this initiative. I have attended & taken part in NCFootball sessions in the past and I know how much young players can gain from the chance to access their professional coaching.
